Beach Soap Winners
April 2025 Soap Challenge
The goal of the challenge this month was to create beach themed soaps incorporating both land and water elements in the design. They could be abstract or realistic. Although surface level embellishments were allowed, the goal was to have as much of the design going through the entire bar as possible. The regular and advanced categories had to create their soaps entirely out of cold process, while the winners category was allowed some freedom to use some transparent soap in their designs. My tutorial from this challenge featuring an ocean wave inspired by 108 Lab is now available in the Tutorial Shop along with dozens of others from past challenges!
Our sponsor this month is Nurture Handmade, providing prizes for the top 3 voted winners in the advanced and winners categories. They are a small company dedicated to bringing you the very best in soap making supplies. Every single product has been stringently tested with a soap maker’s perspective. They care for people, the earth, and the environment! Grand prize winners will receive $100 gift certificates, second place gets $75, and third place gets $50.
All top 3 voted winners in the regular category have the choice of receiving a one-month registration fee for a future soap challenge or one tutorial from a past challenge to encourage more learning!
