Groovy Swirl Winners
October 2024 Soap Challenge
Our guest teacher Whitney Schneider of Cheeky Goat Soapery and member of our Bubble Support team came up with this whimsical technique. It is a simple, yet satisfying way of pouring soap that results in “loopy looking” swirls. The video and written tutorial is now available in our Tutorial Shop if you would like to learn it too!
Our sponsor is Farmer’s Defense, providing limited edition Soap Challenge Club protective sleeves to all of our winners, plus $75 gift certificates for the grand prize winners in each of the competitive categories, and the Sponsor’s Choice prize in the bonus category (chosen by Bubble Support this month), and 20% off coupon codes for second and third place winners in the competitive categories.
Their protective sleeves are a polyester blend that is moisture wicking to keep you cool and dry, plus they are tight fitting so they don’t snag while you work. They provide protection against skin irritation, overheating with heavy clothing, and added the benefit of sun and UV ray protection UPF 50+ if you choose to wear them outside! Available sizes from XS to XXL+

Feedback “Star Gazer is a beautiful reminder of how striking a black & white color scheme can be. The cosmic swirls seem to spin around the moon. The addition of incorporating clay into the batter for stars is a well thought out technique that takes this soap to the next level.” -Sara Golding, Bubble Support
