BeHeartfelt is a 501(c)3 non-profit charity that serves children experiencing homelessness in Guam, Palau and Saipan by partnering with the local schools to provide food, shoes, socks and hygiene kits.  These families live in tin shacks (like you see in the photos) without running water or electricity.  My amazing friend, Lori Marble, founded the organization because she experienced homelessness as a child.  She understands the stigma as well as the desperate need. Her success story gives people hope that their circumstances can change!  Lori and I have been friends for over 10 years and I proudly serve as a board member of the BeHeartfelt organization.

The 2025 soap donation drive will be TUESDAY, January 21-Saturday, January 25, but you are ALWAYS welcome to send soaps! (Monday is a holiday)

One of the main items needed for the hygiene kits is SOAP!  As soapmakers, we tend to have plenty.  We will be sending soaps directly to Guam, and Lori plans to bring soaps to Palau and Saipan as well when she visits again next month.

Your donations are completely tax deductible.  If you wish to receive documentation of your donation, please include your full name and email address.

Acceptable Soap Donations

• Full-size bar soaps that are wrapped OR placed in a snack size ziplock bag.
• Cold process (fully cured), hot process, rebatched or melt & pour.  May have cosmetic imperfections, but no signs of rancidity.
• Label each soap with your name and contact info or website address.

How to Ship

If you are in the U.S., the most cost effective method to ship is USPS Priority mail flat rate boxes.  Medium is $16.85 for commercial (shipping online from your business) or $19.30 at the post office, Large is $23.05 for commercial or $26.00 at the PO, with max weight limit of 70 lbs for both boxes.  (Tariff code for soap is 340120.)

If you are outside the U.S., you are still welcome to donate!  We cannot possibly provide all of the shipping options available for international donors, but please feel free to explore this information for yourself.
